I'm re-opening with the Spring/Early Summer menu featuring soups, sandwiches, and entrees (to please both carnivore and vegetarian), which celebrate this season's bounty: salmon, lamb, asparagus, spinach, sugar snap peas, beets, strawberries, and rhubarb, to name a few. I cook everything from scratch and try to use the best seasonal ingredients available. Depending on market availability, I may need to make vegetable substitutions, I also preserve spring fruits and vegetables to serve throughout fall and winter.

I must express my deep gratitude both to the extremely helpful Fred Brill (manager) and his meat department at the wonderful Adams' Fairacre Farms in Lake Katrine, who make it possible for me to serve natural, affordable, and often local meats and poultry at Amy's Take-Away, and to local RSK Farm and Story Farms who grow the gloriously delicious vegetables and fruits I use as much as possible at Amy's Take-Away.
