77th Street Greenmarket

Columbus Avenue between 80th and 81st Streets
New York, New York 10024

Last year this market moved out of the school yard onto beautiful, tree-lined Columbus Avenue, which has enabled us to dramatically expand our offerings, keep the market open longer and welcome more people. This year we are expanding again and the market will now run from 79th St to 80th St. Thanks to our additional space, several new producers will join the already popular Grazin' Angus Acres grass-fed meats, Milk Thistle organic milk, American Seafood, Valley Shepherd sheep's milk cheeses, and Knoll Krest Farms. New additions include Long Island's American Seafood, Gajeski Farms, 5lbs of Dirt, Ardith Mae Goat Cheese, grains and breads from Cayuga Pure Organics and Featheridge Farm. Regulars Emmerich Greenhouses, Pet-Al flowers and Trumansburg Trees transform the market into a bountiful garden every week. Tree-licious and Terhune orchards provide apples, cider and farm baked goods all year round and a selection of other seasonal fruits. D+J organics supplies the market with organic greens and Asian specialty products all year round. From May – November, Kernan Farms and Berried Treasures have foraged greens, seasonal fruits and a large variety of potatoes. Berkshire Berries provide NYC roof-top honey, as well as a variety of jams and jellies and maple syrup.

Schedule: Sundays, Year-round, 8am - 5pm. 2011-12 Scheduled Changes: Relocates to schoolyard 3 weeks in May, 1 week in September & 3 weeks in October. Closed 12/25/11 & 1/1/12.
